My name is Cady Gambrell and I just uprooted my entire life and career to a town hovering outside of north Houston, all the way from a tiny little mountain town nestled amongst the giant redwood trees in Humboldt County, Northern California. I was actually born here in Conroe, TX, but spent my life growing up on the west coast.

 

I found my passion for photography in high-school, Fortuna High, where I started with film. I fell in love with it immediately, and I have been chasing the light ever since. Now, I chase my 9-month-old son as well. Becoming a mom recently, has shown me how cherrishable photographs really are to take and have. Saying I love what I do is an understatement. There is something about taking photos that lights a candle in my soul. When we grow old, photographs are what let us relive the times that were so full of hopes, dreams, and life.

 

Photographs are timeless and sacred, immersing us into memories and emotions from another time; times that can never be recreated. I put my soul into each session and invest my heart into you. I strive to bring joy to each and every person I photograph, even if it's just for the short time I work with you.
